The uHMI-Pod™ Universal Industrial Joystick Controler is designed to be a modular universal HMI device, the industrial joystick controller can be configured to be used as a motion controller (USB HID Compliant Joystick) allowing up to three axis of control or as a mouse pointing device with two modular switchpads and/or keypads. The uHMI-Pod™ also has a two-button LED brightness control keypad and two customizable slots for up to twelve (12) switchpad, or keypad functions, or optionally it can be configured with an OrbitalMouse® pointing device (only when joystick is used as motion controller.)
This design is the perfect solution for harsh environments requiring rugged industrial motion control or mouse pointer functionality using a joystick and has near waterproof sealing. The industrial joystick installed on the uHMI-Pod™ isprotected by a crash bar / cradle which prevents drop damage and provides a grip for use.

CTI's uHMI-Pod™ can meet MIL-STD-167-1, MIL-STD-901D, MIL-STD-461F, MIL-STD-810G, and MIL-HDBK-217F. These plug-n-play usb motion controller are able to withstand vibration, shock, high EMI/RFI levels, compliant for humidity, fungus, spray, and MTBF is greater than 100,000 hours.
